- Like a lion to a zebra, the female lion hunts and kills the zebra for food

- Like a relationship between an acacia tree and ants, the tree provides a home for the ants and ants will protect trees from predators

Commensalism: a relationship in which in which both species benifit
- like cattle and cattle egrets, cattle graze on grass and disturb insects and the egrets eat the bugs. Both benifit from a food source

Parasitism: a symbiotic relationship in which one organism benifits and the other is harmed
- like a brown headed cowbird, they are a brood parasite and lay their eggs in nests of other bird species so they can raise their young
